How this stopwatch keeps time

It measures from the start time

It does not add up ticks. It subtracts the moment you pressed Start from the current time, so switching tabs never loses time.

A refresh does not reset it

The start time and laps are saved in this browser. Reload or reopen the page and it keeps counting. Reset clears it.

Lap time and total side by side

Lap time is from the previous lap to this one; total is from Start until now. With two or more laps, the fastest and slowest are marked.

Take the table with you

Copy pastes as a table. Save CSV opens in Excel or Google Sheets and includes the raw milliseconds.
